01 June 2010

A project I did about a month ago was centered around the remembrance of each and every day. And to remember a day for the good things within it. Good days are made out of optimism and appreciation - they are all worth being noticed. Everyone would be a little happier if they chose to dwell on one good moment at the end of the day.

This wood-fiber book is an attempt to spread the good one month at a time, while passing some art into new hands.

I've made a patch of fabric for each day in June, each titled with the date, and each crafted with an acetone transfer of an every day landscape or texture image.
Every day this month I'll give away a patch to one individual - stranger or friend - in hopes that they will remember the good of that day whenever they come across their handmade patch.
